Hey! Creators is completely free to join. There are no subscription fees, upfront costs, or hidden charges. You don't pay to create an account, connect social media, or access core creator features.

Earnings are not refundable

Earnings you've made through Hey! Creators (brand partnerships, affiliate commissions, marketplace sales) are final and cannot be refunded once paid to your UPI account. Refund requests for completed earnings must comply with Indian consumer protection laws and brand terms.

Brand partnership cancellations

If you're a creator in an active brand partnership:

You may cancel at any time, but obligations under the brand contract must be fulfilled
Early cancellation may result in penalties or breach claims from the brand
Earnings for completed work remain due; only future earnings may be forfeited

Contact the brand directly to negotiate early exit terms, or escalate to support@heycreators.ai if the brand violates the agreement.

Refund for brand chargebacks or fraud

If a brand disputes a payment or claims fraud, Hey! Creators will:

Investigate within 10 business days
Request evidence from both creator and brand
Honor valid chargebacks issued through payment processors
Deduct chargeback amounts from your next payout (or future earnings)

You are liable for chargebacks resulting from non-delivery of contractual services.

Technical failures / missed payouts

If a payout fails due to:

Our error (e.g., incorrect UPI routing) — we will reprocess at no cost
Your error (e.g., invalid UPI ID) — you must provide corrected details; reprocessing may incur bank fees
Bank error — contact your bank; we can provide transaction proof

Unreceived approved payouts should be reported within 48 hours of the expected payout release date. After 30 days, we cannot reverse completed UPI transactions.

Account closure & data deletion

To close your Hey! Creators account:

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account (in-app or web)
Confirm your request via email verification link
Account is deactivated immediately; profile is removed from search

What happens to your earnings?

Approved pending payouts: Processed one final time before closure
In-progress partnerships: Must be settled; unpaid brand earnings remain due
Transaction history: Retained for 7 years (tax/GST compliance)

What happens to your data?

Profile: Deleted within 30 days of closure request
Content metadata: Deleted; only transaction records remain
Social connections: Unlinked; Hey! Creators no longer accesses your Instagram/YouTube

Account closure is permanent and irreversible. You cannot reactivate a deleted account.

Disputes & appeals

If you believe an earnings deduction, chargeback, or account closure was made in error:

Submit a written appeal to support@heycreators.ai within 30 days
Include evidence (screenshots, transaction IDs, brand communication)
Our team will review and respond within 7 business days

Appeals for earnings disputes may be escalated to our legal team if unresolved.

Chargebacks & fraud

If you issue a chargeback against Hey! Creators without resolving the dispute first:

Your account may be immediately suspended
We may pursue the chargeback in court
You will be liable for legal fees and damages

Always contact support first. We aim to resolve 95% of disputes without chargebacks.

Consumer protection

This policy complies with India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights. If you're a consumer (not a business), you may have additional protections under applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. Significant changes affecting refund eligibility will be communicated 30 days in advance.
